To acquire homes and multi-family dwellings through gifts and/or purchase these through contributions, grants and fund raising activities and/or acquire property and build housing. These dwellings will be used to provide transitional housing for families who are unable to provide adequate housing for themselves as a result of being victims of domestic abuse. Homes of Hope will manage these homes providing maintenance, upkeep and needed improvements.
A care provider/support person will be available for the families that we assist with life skills. The care provider/support person will be a trained volunteer. They will seek to be a friend, to look after the clients and can be called upon for encouragement.
To assist the family to locate public and other resources for assistance and to help them in the application process. This will include providing resources for legal aid, financial aid and other community resource information as available.
To provide a Christian context in which people in need are equipped for life and employment. This will be done in a mission’s context in which people help other people.
